Teacher Spotlight Nominations

In conjunction with MBUSD, the Manhattan Beach Unified Teachers are pleased to announce the Teacher Spotlight, a means by which the outstanding teachers in the district can be recognized for their daily commitment to the students, parents, and community of Manhattan Beach. Students, parents, colleagues, instructional assistants, other classified staff, and administrators may submit nominations for the Teacher Spotlight. Teachers will be chosen randomly from the nominations submitted. 

 

Chosen teachers will be recognized at the first MBUSD School Board Meeting of the month and in the district’s permanent record and will receive a certificate of appreciation acknowledging his or her contribution to Manhattan Beach schools and community. The nominator will receive notice that his or her nominee has been chosen to receive the Teacher Spotlight and encouraged to attend the School Board meeting where the teacher will be recognized.
