Early Bird/Late Bird

Early Bird and Late Bird groups are created in grades 1&2 to maximize reading instruction during these critical years. Smaller groups=more teacher contact which has proven beneficial for our first and second graders. Each teacher uses his/her own discretion and criteria as to how to organize her classroom into EB/LB groups. For the 2011-2012 school year, EB/LB will begin on September 19. Prior to that, all students are early birds.
