STAR Testing

Standardized tests (e.g., STAR) typically occur during the first two weeks of May.  Grades 2 to 5 participate in standardized testing. Please do not schedule medical appointments or family excursions during this time. 

Additionally, classroom teachers offer reviews and test practice strategies during the month of April and we encourage all students to participate.  The STAR measures understanding of California Content Standards and these are taught all year so every school day is important!
