Dear Panther Families~

We are so happy to start our second year of Pacific Pawprints! Pawprints is a monthly newsletter staffed by 4th and 5th grade students. Each issue is dedicated to specific grade levels so that every student at Pacific has an opportunity to get “published.” While our staff will cover school-wide events, we welcome poetry, book or movie reviews, favorite recipes, science or classroom news, fun facts, etc. from all of our Panthers for their grade level issue.   Submissions can be made via “Submit News” found on the Pacific School home page quick links.

In embracing the spirit of character development and citizenship, Mrs. Linz is encouraging our students to focus on one KSR-HELPR aspect at a time throughout the year. This month, we are focusing on “K” for Kindness. In addition to our designated monthly themes listed below, students may consider contributing submissions that focus on the KSR-HELPR trait of the month.

The grade level dedications, themes and KSR-HELPR character dedications are as follows:

Oct. -- 5th Grade -- We’re off to a spooky start with our “Halloween” issue!

We are looking forward to another terrific year of intriguing interviews, pleasing poetry, riveting reviews, appealing articles and thought-provoking polls by our fabulous Pacific students!
