Principal's Corner

Amanda

Welcome to Pacific Elementary School home of the Panthers where we encourage our students to demonstrate their Panther PRIDE by being Positive-Respectful-Inclusive-Dependable-Engaged citizens at all times.

It is an honor to introduce myself as the new principal of Pacific Elementary School. I hope this message finds you excited about the upcoming 23-24 school year.

I am thrilled to return to my elementary roots, where I have spent most of my nearly two-decade-long career in MBUSD supporting students TK-12. I look forward to working together to provide our students with the best opportunities and experiences to prepare them for successful futures. Pacific maintains an excellent reputation due to a dedicated and caring staff, supportive parents, and outstanding students.

At Pacific, we value EVERY Panther! Our staff works incredibly hard to ensure that all students receive a quality education in support of their individual social, emotional, and academic growth.

Pacific Elementary is committed to academic excellence. MBUSD students perform in the top 3% of schools in the nation. We are a California Distinguished School and a No Place for Hate campus.

The Panther community is full of positive energy, supportive spirit, and a commitment to excellence in all that we do! While we support the whole child, our focus is on providing each of our students with the necessary tools to achieve their full potential.

Pacific Elementary is a school where all students thrive as they are taught to treat each other with care and respect, strive for excellence in all that they do, and to aim for their personal best with each goal that is set.

I deeply understand how remarkable our school communities are, and the vital difference the support of our families makes in creating these exceptional learning environments that nurture the growth of the whole child.

I feel fortunate to be part of this wonderful Panther community and look forward to meeting and
connecting with each one of you very soon.

Go Panthers!

All the best,
Amanda Vavao
