5th grade car wash this Sunday, May 20th. All the money going towards 5th grade class gift. Tickets are $6 and can be purchased day of the car wash or with any 5th grader you know. Please come out and support Pacific Panther's 5th graders. Bake sale and snacks also being sold at this fun filled event!

On Sunday, May 20th, bring your family and friends down to the Manhattan Beach Pier at noon to be included in the Centennial Group Photo! Local photographer John Post is organizing this historic photo op in conjunction with the Manhattan Beach Historical Society. No charge to participate! California Standardized Testing (STAR) is right around the corner as well. We will test second through fifth graders May 8th through May 16th. As testing gets closer we will keep you informed about the ways you can support your child so they have a positive testing experience. We ask families to avoid scheduling appointments during that time. Thank you.

The middle school is hard at work preparing for all the incoming 6th grade students. Help your teacher be publicly recognized for his/her skills! You can complete a Manhattan Beach Unified Teachers Association (MBUTA) Spotlight Award Nomination Form and turn it in to the school office. Approximately once a month a nomination form will be drawn at random, and the teacher selected will be honored at a school board meeting.
