Each classroom and the Green Team are tracking participation. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the school year. This event is designed to encourage more daily active mobility and less driving to school. Studies show that students who regularly walk to school have better academic performance and better physical and mental health. Additionally, fewer vehicles on the road improves local safety and air quality.
