At Pacific, our students are supported by two essential partners: the Pacific PTA and the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation (MBEF). Both raise funds that directly shape our children’s experience—just in different ways. The simplest way to differentiate the two is that the PTA pays for things and MBEF pays for people. Pacific PTA: Every dollar stays at Pacific — funding classroom supplies, field trips, technology, campus improvements, and community events. On average, PTA spends more than $450 per student each year—support we couldn’t do without. MBEF: Your contributions fund districtwide programs and personnel, resulting in smaller class sizes, music, PE, science, counseling, and librarians—resources no single school could sustain alone and what, alongside the PTA, make Manhattan Beach the unique and premiere school district it is.
