FREE Coffee and treats on Wednesday, December 3rd at 8:45am (after the assembly). Please check in at the front office to obtain a visitor's badge. This coffee talk is for parents of children that have an IEP or parents that are in the process of obtaining an IEP. Come connect with other IEP parents! What is SEAC (Special Education Advisory Committee)? SEAC is a committee of parents and district staff dedicated to supporting students with special needs and their families. We provide input and guidance on all areas of schooling that affect our children—academics, safety, social and emotional wellness, and more. At Pacific, SEAC is your ally. We work in partnership with staff to promote a culture of care and inclusion. Special Education services may include speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, behavioral support, academic support in the learning center or special day class, counseling services, adapted PE, and physical therapy.
Our objectives are to:
• Share information from MBUSD SEAC meetings
• Identify opportunities to strengthen inclusion
• Exchange knowledge and experiences
• Provide general support for families
