MBUSD is facing a $6.8 million budget shortfall in the 2026-27 school year. Over the coming weeks and months, the Board will need to make difficult decisions about staffing and programs.

We invite you to join us for an important in-person workshop focused on MBUSD’s budget. The meeting will be held on Thursday, February 19, from 11:00-1:00 p.m., and will take place at the District Office in the Board Room.

During this session, we will:

• Provide an overview of the District’s current budget

• Share information about the challenges we are facing

• Outline next steps to address those challenges

• Offer an opportunity for community questions and input
