Friendship clubs are located in elementary, middle and high schools throughout the South Bay. General and special education students join together to eat lunch, socialize, play games, and attend school functions as a group. This program encourages awareness for general education students and creates an environment in which friendships can develop with students in special education. It gives the students a chance to have a friend in the hallways, cafeteria, and around their school.
